Enhanced the platform-wide global search to default to the last 90 days of results, with filters for All time, Last 30 days, Last 6 months, and Last year.
Approach
Analyzed search behavior and saw that most queries target recent content, while older results added noise. Set 90 days as the default to reduce noise, but kept the time-range filter one click away so users can go broader when needed.
Outcome
Faster access to relevant, timely information. Reduced noise from older content while maintaining backward compatibility for historical searches.
